Orthopedics

Orthopedic rehabilitation is a therapeutic approach to recovery, the purpose of which is to correct musculoskeletal limitations and alleviate pain from trauma, illness, or surgery. The musculoskeletal system consists of muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and cartilage so orthopedic rehab can address any of those structures.

Biokinetics rehabilitation focuses on restoring your strength, flexibility, mobility, and overall function in your body. We test and retest to determine a basis line and to track your progress. We help you with strengthening and stretching exercises in gradual progression to help optimize your physical abilities and return to activity/sport or pre-injury state. We treat everyone from children to office workers and serious athletes.

Examples of the types of orthopedic injuries and conditions that may require rehab include Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Chronic injuries, ACL and meniscus tears, Broken bones, Hip, knee and shoulder replacement, Ankle sprains and tears, Muscle strains and tears, Rotator cuff repair, Before and after back surgery, Neck pain, Sciatica, Mechanical back pain and Amputation.
